Lewis & Partners recently advised a Family Office on the sale of Genesis House, Godliman Street, St Paul’s EC1 to Travelodge Hotels Ltd in an off market transaction for an undisclosed amount.
The property was multi let with short unexpired terms and had the potential to create up to 95 hotel rooms subject to necessary planning consents.
Lewis & Partners have acted on behalf of Brydell partners on the off market acquisition of two Travelodge hotels in Edinburgh and Dagenham East, London. Both Hotels were income producing and were acquired from KFIM for a combined £17.5m.

This outstanding 5 star, 225 room hotel development site in the heart of Edinburgh Old Town was sold to private investors. Virgin Hotels operated their very first UK hotel here, in 2020, and Lewis & Partners worked on the development, with Jansons Property.
A forward funding hotel development, on behalf of Jansons, provided a 259 bedroom, 4 star hotel let to Ibis with retail space, in Edinburgh’s Old Town. The development of this UNESCO world heritage site incorporated new build elements and the refurbishment and re-use of existing buildings. Retail tenants include a Sainsbury Local and Costa. Lewis & Partners acted for Jansons Property and the funding was provided by one of LaSalle’s funds.
