Lewis & Partners advised a private investor on the sale of Living Student in Cardiff, a 136 bed student accommodation asset. The property was direct let with 100% occupancy for the upcoming academic year and was sold to Columbia Threadneedle, with pricing reflecting £13m and 6.25% NIY.
Lewis & Partners advised Invesco Real Estate on the acquisition of a student development site in Moss Lane, Manchester. The site owned by Alumno benefits from a planning consent to develop a 261 bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) asset.
Construction is to start shortly with a target completion date of Q3 2026. Pricing for the site was circa £9m with the end GDV of the development totalling circa £70m.
